What is Experiential Education?

Dear KIS parents,

Enjoy the EE Trip Highlights Video!

This Video“What is Experiential Education?” is an overview of Experiential Education at Korea International School.  Since 2012, over 20 trip leads from grades 4-12 have organized trips in the fall and spring around Korea focusing on the following 4 pillars: service, applied learning, intercultural proficiency, and self-discovery.

Big thanks to Mr.Johnston and all the teachers who have worked hard to provide unique experiences to help our students grow as a person outside of the classroom.

PTO Fundraising

KIS PTO had been run by the funds raised from PTO membership fee. However, as the new law (Kim Young Lan anti-bribery law) took effect last year, PTO is no longer permitted to formally raise funds through its membership drive. Instead, HS PTO can accept your kind donations which will directly benefit our students. Those funds will support the following events as below;

Mini Grants for clubs, Sports Team, Art Show, Drama, Music Concert, Senior Graduation event, Service Learning Programs, Hospitality for college admission officers, and much more….

This donation is not compulsory but would be greatly appreciated. All donations are not tax-deductible. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact

Once again, thank you so much for your help and have the rest of the summer in health!
