MS 8th Grade Celebration Trip Update

Good evening KIS MS Parents and this message is for the 8th Grade Students and Parents,

The PTO Board asked me to answer a few questions regarding the 8th Grade Celebration Trip.

Please see below:

How many students are signed up? At this point we have 47 students signed up for the Thailand trip.

The breakdown of the costs for the trip-  The program cost includes 4 nights of accommodation, all meals each day, all ground transportation, 6 students for every 1 staff member (1/2 Rustic Pathways and 1/2 KIS Staff), all local guides, 24-hour emergency support, all taxes, community service supplies (paint, seed, lunch items), student package of t-shirt/ journal/ stickers and other Rustic Pathways promotional items, and educational resources.

How will the students get to the airport? We leave from KIS with the school buses.

Insurance: KIS will offer travel insurance through our company at a minimal price for those needing the coverage.

Flights: Per the 8th Grade Survey results, we will use the least expensive route with a major airline.

Can students still join? YES If you would like for your child to be part of these experiences you can still sign them up for one of these *trips. For more information on the trips please go to the websites:

8th Grade Trip:

*Any students signed up after September 30th will not be guaranteed to be on the same flights to the trips, may have to pay higher flight fees, and will have to pay W100,000 late fee.

Have a great evening and take care,

Dr. Lovelin
